On Wednesday, 10 October 2018, BAPETEN (NUCLEAR POWER SUPERVISORY AGENCY) awarded the BAPETEN Safety and Security Award (BSSA) to Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital (Kasih Ibu Foundation) as a form of appreciation for the commitment in implementing regulations and fostering nuclear power or ionizing radiation users, to achieve excellent safety and radiation safety performance.
Of the 2700 institutions in Indonesia in the health and industry sectors, only 300 received this certificate and only 40 advanced to receive direct awards. It became happiness and pride for all directors and employees at Kasih Ibu Hospital.
This award also shows that Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital always prioritizes safety and security in service.
